Find Your Voice Today,
Speak Your Mind Tomorrow

Official BCMSDL Girls Initiative.png

Our mission at BC Girls Debate is to promote and facilitate girl’s access to debate education and to promote girl’s public speaking and analytic skills development.

Many young girls feel shy and are scared of what others may think of their speaking skills and opinions, especially in a predominantly male classroom. To achieve our mission, we plan to conduct classes to help girls build confidence in argumentation and public speaking.

Moreover, we aim to make the process enjoyable and hope for our students to meet other similar minded girls and form meaningful lifetime connections.

Mission Statement:

This initiative offers free debate classes for young teenage girls starting on May 22nd until June 19th. We will meet on Sundays at 4pm-5pm (May 22nd, June 5th, June 12th, and June 19th).

Remember to act fast, registration closes on May 8th!
